On 6 July 2026, Envision Academy proudly delivered its Find Your Thread: Personal Statement & Career Workshop to Form 5 students at St. Stephen’s Girls’ College. The workshop gave students practical tools to turn their real experiences into a personal statement, university application, and interview answers that stand out — the same story they can reuse for JUPAS, scholarships, and their future careers.
A Focus on Story, Evidence and Direction
The Find Your Thread workshop is part of Envision Academy’s broader commitment to equipping young people with critical life skills. Through interactive learning and relatable content, students discovered the one thread that runs through their experiences, and learned how to make an admissions officer — or a future employer — picture them.
Workshop Highlights
Students identified the single idea running across their subjects, activities and choices, moving beyond “passionate and hardworking” to a real story only they can tell.
Using the STAR method, students turned ordinary experiences into specific, picture-able proof — a scene, an action, a result — the kind an admissions officer remembers.
Students drafted a personal-statement opener and saw how one true story becomes their JUPAS application, university interview, scholarship pitch, and one day their CV.

94% of students said the session was useful, and their feedback highlighted its clarity, interactivity, and practical relevance:

「Find Your Thread」工作坊是 Envision Academy 致力培養年輕人重要人生技能的一環。透過互動學習與貼身內容，學生找出貫穿自身經歷的那一條主線，學會如何讓收生老師 — 以至未來僱主 — 一看就想像得到自己。
工作坊重點
學生找出貫穿其選科、活動與選擇的那個核心，由「有熱誠、肯努力」走到一個只有自己能說的真實故事。
運用 STAR 方法，學生把平凡經歷化成具體、想像得到的證據 — 一個場景、一個行動、一個結果 — 正是收生老師記得住的那種。
學生撰寫了個人陳述的開首，並了解同一個真實故事如何化成 JUPAS 申請、大學面試、獎學金自薦，以至日後的履歷。
